I did see The Eagle. It was an OK movie. Didn't really do it justice, though, like you said. I missed a lot of the poetry of the story. I think her books would make amazing movies with the right direction.

You have a really great looking blog. I enjoyed reading through it and I especially enjoyed finding someone who things that almost green bananas are the best! I cannot stand the brown spots, and I usally weird people out when I say that. :)
