I definitely didn't do too much in Ireland other than Dublin and the Celtic Tour (remind me to find the brochure I had to get the name of it for you.) I think one of my favorite bits with the Jamison Distillery. I'm not even a whiskey drinker but it was very good. We were there around Christmas so it was extremely festive. The Temple Bar had lovely decorations. But the celtic tour was definitely my favorite. I'm a big fan of more nature-y, off-the-beaten-path sorts of things. And I love me some ruins. If I'm remembering correctly, it wasn't terribly expensive and came with a meal & tea/coffee. I studied abroad in Northern England so we just jetted over to Ireland for a long weekend.

Well its kind of a funny story. You see, the entire purpose of my trip was to visit a friend in the north of Spain, but they only had a regional airport so I would have to take a RyanAir flight to reach them (meaning I would be stranded somewhere for a couple of days anyway). I could have flown to Madrid but I had already been there and it was much more expensive because it was June, so I flew to Ireland instead lol. I had always wanted to go and I had taken a fascinating class called History of Modern Ireland in college so I figured if I was going to be wandering around somewhere for a couple of days it was going to be Dublin. I ended up in Rome too which was awesome, but for some reason Dublin really stayed with me :) I have to go back someday and see the countryside.

Welcome Lizzie! San Diego is such a wonderful place! Where are you hoping to work post graduation? Ireland is wonderful. :) Make sure to travel around as much as possible while you're there. I did a wonderful Celtic Tour out of Dublin if you're interested in the info. (I definitely recommend it.) Have put you in my feedreader. :)
