About Me:

My name is Holly, I'm a 21 year old feminist, freelance writer, web designer and developer and of course, passionate blogger.

I live in Vandling, Pennsylvania, a widely residential/farm town with my boyfriend and our amazingly cute and anti-social, somewhat bitchy cat, Devin. I've never been able to relate to anyone as much as I can relate to my cat; affection is great, but in very small doses and only when she is in the mood for it and otherwise, you can just leave her alone--Just don't forget to refresh the food and water every day or else we'll have a problem on our hands, which mainly consists of high pitched whining.

I grew up writing short stories, poems, vignettes, prose and have written two novellas. However, those have since been lost over the years and while I do have plans for a few books in my mind, who knows if anything will ever come of them.

I'm a reader, always have been; you know what they say--If you want to be a writer, you better become a reader first. Ever since the first grade, I can remember always being seen with a book in my hands. While you may assume that a feminist can't read anything else besides feminist theory books, you are mistaken. I love books in all genres and read a lot of fiction and young adult books; there's something about being able to escape the life you're in and go into someone else's world for a while that really speaks to me.

What makes you different from other bloggers?

I write more about current events and my opinions on politics and whatnot, I'm not the "I woke up and ate a bowl of Cheerios" blogger who must document every meal, shopping adventure and bowel movement.
