i am an intern architect working outside of Boston, in the pursuit of becoming a licensed architect. in between work and studying for the exam, i do me a bit of drinking.
Your razor-sharp response to my latest Peen-Wielder entry was rather stunning and I thank you for taking the time to reply as your input is greatly illuminating being that you yourself wield a peen.
Also, I loved that post about the Astronaut artist. I was stumped as to what to buy my friend for his 23rd and that painting with Biggie is way too perfect.
Thanks a lot for your comments - I'm glad that some of what I write moves people, even if just a tiny little bit.
I read some of your blog - what a cool, interesting field you're in. I'm an avid learner about all things green recently - particularly as my organization is trying to come up with a plan to finance and build an eco-friendly center for refugee children in Ghana (a home with dorms, a cafeteria, classrooms, play rooms, bathrooms....) I'll keep reading for inspiration and new knowledge :)
If you have any advice as to where a grassroots non profit could turn to for help designing the type of structure, I just mentioned, let me know!
Ps. the Pacific "trash vortex" is absolutely frightening.....

Please sign the petition calling on authorities to insure that the rights of refugees in Ghana are being upheld:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/LiberianRefugees/index.html
It will be passed on to authorities as soon as we garner enough support.
This petition is co-sponsored by a group of NGOs and individuals who have worked and are currently working in the Buduburam refugee settlement.
Thank you.
