I am a web entrepreneur and soon-to-be MBA. I love keeping up with major trends in technology. When I have my own thoughts on tech subjects, especially when they deal with web business, I blog about them on my Yacrosoft blog.
I also enjoy writing about the Spanish language. I write semi-technical analysis of Costa Rican Spanish on my blog called...'Costa Rican Spanish' (http://costaricaspanish.blogspot.com). I also have written an extensive dictionary of Costa Rican Spanish words and expressions on my website, RuralCostaRica.com.
I am a returned Peace Corps volunteer. I still like to keep up with things in my host country of Costa Rica. I am currently updating my website, RuralCostaRica.com, to promote a wider array of rural development projects, especially rural tourism. At some point I would like to dedicate more of my time and resources to promote development through entrepreneurship in the rural Third World.

The Value of Twitter

Twitter recently signed a term sheet with a VC firm for a reported $20+ million at a $250 million valuation. According to Silicon Alley Insider, the lofty valuation implies that each of the billion or so tweets is worth $0.20. Perhaps more telling is the $40 average attributed to Twitter's 6 million users.
