"I always like to know everything about my new friends, and nothing about my old ones" - Oscar Wilde.
I've made an important discovery over the past couple of years. It's not lip plumping lipstick, or Stroopwaffles, or even how the shape and size of the back pockets on your jeans determines how big your ass looks.
It's friendships. Connections. It's the divine discovery that sometimes certain people are thrust into our pathways for a reason.
The majority of my friendships, including the intimate bond with my two best friends, are friendships that have been nurtured and crafted over many years to bloom into the fruitful, gratifying unions that they are today.
In fact, I hated my best friend for the first 2 years that I knew her, but the gods kept smooshing our lives together and eventually we caved and consummated our friendship with vodka and chocolate cake.
