American Patriotism from an Independent Perspective

The essence of intelligent people is at their ability to see reason even in opposition. We can have countless debates on which policy is better. The better of us base our convictions on reason and intellectual theory. But in the since of humanity some people will remain mean spirited..., we under-estimate the power of positive thinking. no matter which way you think the bread should be sliced, the end result is that bread only exist so it can be eaten. Some forget the very reason on WHY we do things, and they are stuck on How. As we debate on the how, we distract ourselves from the point of the task at hand.

Even people that I considered the most intelligent showed that they lack tact, professionalism, and even in some regard showed their most radical perspective- Wanting people to fail based on speculation due to the fact that they do not agree on fundamentals. They even go as far as personal attacks, and clearly their visceral response is an indication of what they stand for. The sediment and character in which makes the person who they are and in turn forms an extension of what they do and what they value.
I’ve lost all respect and I am disappointed in some American people. Clearly people like this lack the ability to reason opposition and therefore are inept of being taken seriously. We as Americans will not always agree, but we are living in the same country with a common goal. Wishing the worst for another American in my eyes is not patriotic -especially, if the American is the "spoken leader" of your country.

Regardless of our president’s party affiliation, sex, race or religion, I want him/her to succeed in making the best decisions possible regarding our country and foreign policy- even if I did or did not vote for him/ her. Perhaps a better way to phrase your perspective is that your faith in our President in making those decisions are low or non-existent. But wishing a man to fail who is the voice of the country in which you live indicates that you want our country to fail. Period! To lack faith in something is permissible. Nobody is requiring you to have faith. You can have little or no faith in a person’s ability to make wise decisions. However, this does not mean that you want the man to make poor decisions, it simply states that you do not think it is likely due to certain criteria that is valid, credible and certainly not presumptive. But to want failure is another. At the essence it boils down to your intentions. Hence, a person with evil intentions can be considered mean spirited. I say to the people with this perspective. “Get out of my country and go else where”., for your outlook does not coincide with the American creed and the very reason on why this country was formed. We strive to have a more perfect UNION.

Consider the name of our country the UNITED states. I put my emphasis on United. If you are unable to unite regardless of fundamental difference, then what are you doing here? We are a country of different backgrounds and different values. We can be tolerant of each other and even disagree. But if you lack respect for humanity and individuals and refuse to stand with your fellow American, then, please dismiss yourself from this country. You are not receptive to being united. Therefore We collectively as a country will cast you out.

I am a fiscal conservative- societal liberal. I am an individual- not a party affiliate. I encourage everyone to find their own voice that suits their needs/ wants/ and perspective...I urge you to have conviction based on good intention for all humanity and the betterment of this country and society.
