I'm not letting this go... following my post on the sexy (albeit slightly drag... thanks Ronan) Louboutin Glitter Slingbacks, I got talking to a few friends about the idea of designer shoes and whether or not it was worth the money. The short answer was yes, and Tootsie has since bought a fabulous pair of CL's, much to all of our jealousy and awe. However... Last weekend, I was trotting around the shoe section in Debenhams (I have a sickness, I know) and low and behold what did my little magpie eyes spot in the Nine-West concession stand? Only a pair of knock-off Louboutin's! On close inspection, they do appear to have the five points of difference which make them legal to sell without being classed as counterfeit, but look above and tell me their not a dead ringer. And they've been reduced from €99 to €90, and if you time it right you might get another 20% in the Debenhams sale. I only have two little issues with them, the first is the red sole (nail varnish or car paint and a bit of time can sort that out) and the second is the heel height. I love my sky scrapers.... I'm only a little scrap of a thing, and the heel on the Nine West shoe just doesn’t cut the mustard for me. That said, if you're buying them for a wedding, a lower heel height might make sense... but where's the fun in that? ;)
