The Bloggers With The Most To Say

People have been discussing about sustainable structural design for many years now, but that group has now finally hit the inclining point with the
advent of the LEED standards. There is no longer any excuse for not
going green.

What is LEED? LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and the standards allow a building to become certified as
sustainable in terms of its resource use and interior health. It
expense a little bit more to build green, but these costs are made up
quickly in energy savings and worker productivity.

Chicago and Seattle in US are two of many cities that now require all municipal buildings be LEED certified. How about Philippines? Oh, and while we're
on the subject of green: Plant more trees! If mayors understood the
correlation between tree cover and real estate value, our cities would
look like forests.

Starting doing so, would somehow avoid or lessen our burdens regarding Summer Heat of El Nino as what is happening now in our country. For now, it is
not the exact solution for our country for we don’t care about it. Yes!
Global warming is what we experiencing today.
I
think, now is the time to start the change we want to see. Let’s do our
best in executing environmental friendly deeds today! We need to start
even for 3R’s policy.
Go green! Let’s make a better place!
