Greetings and introductions

So, I figured I would try this blogging thing on the ol' witchcraft box (computer) here. I suppose I should introduce myself in case this is the first thing you have seen on my profile thingy here. My name is Kris and I play the drums for a metal band called DisplaceD and a 90's cover band called Zazz Blammymatazz. I was in the Marines for about 7 years and got out as an E-5. (Sgt.) I was with a tank unit and went to Thailand in 2002 and then was part of the invasion force in Iraq in 2003. There are man reasons I am not in any more, but most have to do with the government, hahaha. I am an electrician by trade and attend the SUNY University at Buffalo in hope of being either a philosophy teacher, or perhaps a mechanical or areospace engineer, not sure yet. I have high hopes for Displaced, I would like to see the band tour within the next year and it may just happen, we are signed to Chaimberlain Records.
I hope to meet some new people on here and maybe even end up being good at this blogging stuff. I'm also a podcast junkie and listen to a few comedy and some smart people ones too. Some of my favourite ones are Vomitus Prime, Sick and Wrong, Astronomy Cast, Skeptoid, Stuff You Should Know, and p9's Ambient Electronic Podcast. I like to play my drums, crack a beer with my buddies, watch movies, do outside stuff, I guess the norm for most people, though maybe a bit on the nerdy side. I like shitty sci-fi movies, Monty Python, Mel Brooks films, and some other English humour. I would like to travel and see the world. I like alot of stuff, but never went full bore into much of anything except the military when I was in and my music. I do however, comma, pause for effect, know what I can afford to do which I try not to let get me down. Anyone who can offer me help with this blogging or wants to talk about making a podcast drop me a line or comment, I'll try to post again soon and paruse this site and leave some love and make some new friends.
