I am seriously techno iliterate

I am new to blogging but I love it. But Im seriously lacking in the knowledge of widgets and all that stuff. If anyone has any pointers I would love the advice. I remember when I first started Myspace and I was so clueless on how to do everything.. hahaha and all my friends had to show me how. None of my friends blog, so any input is greatly appreciated...
