Insert Foot

I was having a serious issue this morning with the undergarments…now that’s all fixed I really feel 100% better.

I’m having a serious case of guilt this morning, and it’s pretty thick and I don’t like it at all. It’s making me uncomfortable.

Last night we had a few girls come over and check out our apartment to sublease when we move out in May. I thought it was going great & we were laughing and joking around and a few times I told funny stories that I probably shouldn’t have told & now I’m afraid of them getting back to me. One thing I have learned here in Annapolis is that the only people you can trust are the ones you live with (aka A & D). I guess I just get going on a roll & I’m a person who likes to make people laugh…I tossed & turned last night thinking of how I’m going to get yelled @ by someone because I told a funny story. This is what I get for being Catholic.

In other news:
My mom sent me a text last night while at work about our old pupp Lucy. Lucy has been my mom’s shadow for 15 years and shes starting to get old & frail. Shes an old beagle that has quickly become a staple in everyones lives (even my friends). Her little trot is so cute & she’d protect us from anything (swear!). My brother’s dog moved in when he moved to NYC & Murphy is this big ol’ pitbull-shephard mix that’s crazy and loud and invasive and little Lulu has been so very understanding and patient with Murph-dog. Since Lucy has gotten old Murph has become more understanding and is her eyes & ears (because both vision and hearing is going…) and he protects her and guides her and they’re bffs. Its too cute. Well mom sent me a text saying she had to take Luc to the vet because her bladder has been all screwy and we have to prepare ourselves. I guess I’ve never lost a pet of seriously important importance (well…My cat buffy died a long time ago but she was such a brat and I didn’t have that “connection” with her like I do with Lucy that I wasn’t that affected. Plus theres a big difference between cat love & dog love.) and I’m going to have a little bit of a rough time with it considering I burst into tears when I read the text. I cant imagine life without lucy.

Tonight we’re headed to the Nationals Game

I had to leave for work a little early so I could park at the metro & take that to work and meet A & D in DC for the game at 6(ish.) It’s going to be a busy day and I’m already feeling a little tired from the week but I’ll drink some coffee and make sure to have a splendid time this evening.
