I never realized how dependent I was on the sun until I moved to London. Gloomy England has turned me into a vitamin D-obsessed sunbather. As soon as the sun peaks its shy little head between the overbearing clouds, I find it impossible to remain indoors. I become fidgety at the idea of staying inside and gaze out the window like a schoolgirl longing to go out and play. Who knows when the sun will come out next? It may only be gracing us with its presence for one measly hour.
