Delicious design problems? Custom blog
Hey guys.
Nearly two years ago, April 2008 to be exact, I paid for a custom blog by delicious design studio. Back then it was run by mama bear Jess/the tattooed mama.
Since then they have changed owners. She said that she would finish projects during her time, actually she promised all projects would be done by 2009.
Its been two years and still have I yet to see any result and tried time and time again to contact her to ask for either a refund or to finally see my project. All I get is a automated response, every single time.
Her email responses says she is going through personal problems, but I still think that after 2 years I should get my 125 dollars worth page or refund.
I know may of you have gotten designs from her in the past.
I wonder if anyone else is going through the same problem?
or have any way I can contact her?
I am not trying to spread negative feelings here, but I am starting to feel a bit neglected and it is after all a service I paid for and expect results.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. EXACT same thing. Also, a lot of other bloggers I know went through it. I paid the $125, never got my blog, or my money back and received the same story line about personal problems. The confusing thing is, there are a lot of bloggers that have beautiful designs that she did and so I thought maybe, just maybe I'd be one of the lucky ones. I put faith and hard working money into a big dissapointment. It's a shame because her work is incredible and just my style so it really sucks that it didn't work out.

I was wondering if I was the only one, but I knew she had so many clients in the bloggersphere I though she wouldnt dare scam others.
I really think we should do something about this.
I saw her on facebook once but didnt add her. I am gonna try to track her down.
To me 125 invested in my blog is not silly money.
Do you know if anyone took further action?
If she has done this to many I think something should be done.

I know a blogger who tried, but I don't know the outcome. Let me email her and see if it's okay to give you her email address. She was very helpful with information on what to do if you want to take action.

I've been hearing about her a bunch, she owes a lot of people money.
Personal problems justify not finishing designs but does NOT justify not returning the money

I issued a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Paypal which got me nowhere. And I'm still mourning the
$222 I dished out with nothing to show for it. And I know that she has started a new studio under a different name.
I still don't know how she is still getting away with this. And I don't know the reason we all can't get together and do something about it. For reasons beyond me, she is untouchable.

Man, I'm sad to read this --- the current owners of Delicious Design Studio were AMAZING to me when I did my redesign. Have you tried contacting them, perhaps they might have some way of getting in touch with her?
That's awful. Seriously, I'd be SO PISSED.

Amy, if you have a personal contact at the new ownership, give me it. I have a LONG list of bloggers that have contacted me about it, and I've approached Jess quite a bit to no avail. I have her word they'd honor her agreements, and to my knowledge they did nothing of the sort.

I just emailed the Delicious Design main email---I don't have the name of the guy who helped me. I had issues with a premade, and he repaired them while I slept :) Sorry I'm not more helpful!

I've heard SO MUCH about this problem. I was unaware that they'd changed owners. I'd say that with all the 20sb bloggers out there, if they all got together, their chances are much better of getting something done. Good luck!
