The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I guess most people are a bit of both... I am really an introvert at times *shy* which is probably why  haven't created a discussion yet.

It's strange that even though I am anonymous online, I'm still my quiet self (note...not quiet amongst friends, just strangers)

Well, here I am, somewhere inbetween. Still, as a 21 year old, I should be working on my social skills, but tend to run (walk really fast) to a "safer place" when in public.

Now I feel like I've created a discussion that belongs more in the mental health forums. lol. But still, it's great to meet you guys. I think many of your blogs are really cool:)

So, Hi.

I'm an introvert, but a confident one, if that makes sense. I don't like talking to people, it's awkward and usually pointless. But I'm no wallflower, so I don't even have the benefit of melting into the background and just people-watching.

I think that technically just makes me a bitch.

At least you're confident in your own skin:)

Would you say you're a different person online, in that you technically "talk" more to people on the internet?

Oh, yeah, for sure.

The awkward pauses are not so obvious online, and it's so much easier to walk away from an annoying conversation. Plus nobody can see me.

I'd say that I'm an introvert slowly transitioning to an extrovert. If that makes any sense. I guess I'm at a point in my life/career where I can't afford to be so introverted anymore so I'm making a conscious effort to put myself out there.

I am certainly a bit of both! Online and off, I make friends easily and I love being a part of planning and starting new projects, etc. I also can talk up a STORM and I speak my mind. However, a perfect day is being curled up on our couch with my wife and kitties, reading and relaxing. Or playing a game. Or blogging. Often I can become a total hermit and don't even go online except for checking my e-mail and updating my blog!

I'm definitely an introvert. Even when I was little, I was perfectly content to play alone in my room for hours. However, I'm a very friendly introvert. I love meeting new people, and I also love being with friends. It's just that I derive my energy from my alone time. I don't think I could ever be in a relationship with anyone who didn't appreciate my need for alone time.

alone time is definitely important to me too, and I also love being with friends:) Just not so good at making new ones, but I cherish the friendships I've got.

Definitely both. I think this comes from my musician background. For example, I like to be left alone and keep to myself when I write and make music, I feel it's my own private haven. I also like to go to places and just wonder and think and be alone, which I think best. I love me some privacy. I can also be quite randomly outspoken and bold to an extent, I am not really shy. I also act occasionally and enjoy talking and meeting new people, or singing in front of a group of people.

I don't remember where, but I also read a blog post talking about how cat people leaned towards being introvert, and dog people lean extrovert. I am very much a cat and a dog person. :]

That's interesting. I am a dog person through and through, but I'm often an introvert in public.  I go through stages though... more extroverted stages. Usually when with friends I'm very talkative and opinionated. Or on the dancefloor... I can let loose. lol. People are complicated. Thinking about it, I'm both, depending on the situation.

How cool that you're a musician! Just visited your blog and you seem like a very creative person. The wonderfridge. lol. :D

The Wonderfridge is stuff of legends.

Thanks a bunch :]

I'm pretty extroverted, but I also listen to The Cure a lot, so...

Haha, well. One has to wonder then...;-}
