If you could open any business, what would it be?
Personally, I'd love to have a cupcake bakery. Unfortunately, those are now more common than Walmart's and I like to be original, plus there isn't much you can do with a cupcake once you've eaten it. So that'll just stay in my kitchen! On the other hand, I'm designing a clothing line. So yea, that's my future business!

I finally became brave enough and just started my own business this year. I've been thinking about what I'd do for years and I finally figured it out and did it!
I am now making custom bags and accessories out of upcycled fabrics and clothes. (They are cooler than you think I swear =) You can check them out at my website or blog
I've also wanted to open a restaurant with separate rooms and have each room represent a different country, with decorations and authentic cuisine. That way you can go to the same restaurant and visit a different country every time =) Sweet huh!

And I'm convinced you have visited my brain before, because I had the same exact idea for a restaurant. Giving people an "around the world" experience, all under one roof! Great minds think alike :-)

A coffee shop/cafe.
I worked at Starbucks for years and I know everything that they do wrong, and everything they do right.
I think I will start it up one day. I have a bunch of ideas and think I could make a real success of it.
One of my best friends has opened up a cafe a couple of hundred miles away from me, so I gave her all my ideas to help her business. That far away, she won't be competition!

I think it would be fun to have a boutique, kind of like NM-type merchandise, but I'm pretty sure it would lead to me becoming more materialistic than I'd like to be.
Nonprofits appeal a lot more to me. I also think it would be awesome to start a school (and hope to do it one day) - so I suppose that would probably be what I'd choose if I could pick anything!

A boutique was my first idea for a clothing line. I just didn't like the idea of selling other people's clothing when I had ideas of my own :-)
I have a thing for nonprofits as well, something catering to young women!

It would have to be a bookshop for me. It's too bad that here in Italy most of those are forced to shut down within a year from opening. :( Or a bakery. Yum yum!
