When I first opened a twitter account, I tweeted a blog post (I was a new blogger, as well), and when one of my followers retweeted, I received over 100 page views that evening, which was huge for me, since my blog was still in the "ghost town stage" at that point.

Oh wow, that's great that you got a ReTweet that quickly! I think Twitter is a really useful source in finding like-minded people and discovering new content. I'm happy it worked out for you like that :) Getting 100 views in one day is big for a brand new blog!

Speaking of Twitter, it took me a while to figure out how to use it. I didn't understand how others were conducting conversations through tweets, but once I got the hang of it I fell in love.
