What's your happy song?
Recently I wrote a post on my blog (you can read it here).
It mentioned how every person (and especially us musically inclined 20 somethings) has a song that always cheers them up or makes them want to sing and dance along, almost every time they heard it.
Mine has been "Sofa Song" by The Kooks (for many years now).

"I Cross My Heart" by George Strait, because it is mine and my wife's song! "Cadillac Cowboy" by Chris LeDoux because I listened to it before we rode in the rodeo, "All Star" by Smash Mouth because it's just plain AWESOME and makes me happy! And sooooooooooooooooooooooo many more!

My happy song changes frequently. But right now it's a toss up between More (the Jimmy Joker Remix) by Usher, Higher by Taio Cruz, or Raise Your Glass by Pink. Such great, happy making songs!

"Sofa Song" has always been my "happy song", but I also have an additional 'new' one every month or week even:) Music is lovely that way...

Ugh. Happy song is tough for me, but the band Latterman is pretty much my audio Prozac. I was feeling like hell the other day and I put on one of their albums and I was pretty much cured.
Although now that I think about it, "Stars Were Exploding" by Good Luck (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSFvTgp7MFQ) is pretty amazing too.

That is one of my classic happy songs! In high school, I used to listen to it on repeat when I was sad and dance around like they do in the music video. I've (mostly) grown out of my hardcore teenage obsession with TMBG, but I still pull that song out when I'm feeling down.
