The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I know you have seen this before, but I have been debating back and forth as to whether or not blogspot or wordpress is the better option.  I have had blogspot for some time now and have debated making the switch to my own domain at wordpress.

What are your thoughts on wordpress?

I started with a blogspot blog a few years ago, and it was a great introduction to blogging.
But itellyouwhat I switched to Wordpress at the beginning of this year and I LOVE IT.

I feel a lot more connected to a community of bloggers, and they make it easy to discover and be discovered.

Give it a try, even if you just poke around and decide it's not the right switch for you.
I made the switch in April of 2007 and I must say that WP is much more enjoyable for me as a user.
I tried using wordpress maybe a decade ago, so I'm not sure how it's evolved since, but I'm using blogger now and it's convenient. It has a new page function so I can type up extra pages as well. The only thing I don't like about it is how I can't "reply" to comments.
well i do not have my own domain at wordpress but i have the wordpress.com blog and i love it so much better than blogspot. just my opinion
By this week, I will make that same decision. I will probably go and import my blog to WordPress.
I LOVE LOVE wordpress it does take some getting used to and alot more know how to design, but it is worth it considering all the plugins and flexibility wordpress has vs blogger :)

Just My Thoughts~

I used to have a wordpress blog for awhile. I then made the switch to blogspot. I found blogspot was more easier to navigate and use. overall, I'm happy that I made that move. Although, I do like the idea of owning my own domain but I think now that I'm super comfy with my transfer and all I don't really feel like making another move.

I guess, go thru the site some more and get a better feel for it (ie. checkout other people's pages) if you still feel it's a new home you want, then go for it.

I hope some of that helped?
I like Wordpress - it's a little bit more to learn but once you do there's so much you can do to customize and pimp it out.
I think they're both fine in general, but the Blogger commenting system has so many problems. For comments alone, I'd choose wordpress.
ahem....WORDPRESS...do it! ;) I'm kidding, Jenn...I'm going to continue to stalk your blog regardless of which host you use!
I did it a couple years ago, but it was not hard to import from blogger into wp. And, there are tons of good tutorials available online.
Mrs. K this is why I love you! I stalk your blog as well... I'm going to be making the switch next month after my giveaway.
