had a major crush on her
when I was a teenager
spent my teen years listening
endlessly to gliterry galmorous punk
garbage, placebo, mansun and the manics
and still love them I adore milk and #1 Crush
kudos for setting up this group

That was me in 10th grade :)

I'd come home, but Garbage in my Discman, close my eyes and let Shirley sing to me. I even bought the dark blue sparkly nail polish (if I remember correctly) she wore on the album cover.

Total geek.

Oh God me too. I shudder to think what would have happened to me if I didn't play that first album over and over and over again through the 9th grade. Garbage literally saved me too.

Garbage got me through high school. They saved me--or at least my sanity--during some tough times. I still wish I was Shirley Manson.
