Nice to see new members! :D

No matter how severe the disability, I believe our disabilities make us stronger!

Just join  :)  I have  a speech impenitent ((  I am sure   I spell that wrong)) so its not really  huge thing but when the words don't  always come out right sometimes its not easy fitting in people always ask me how come you talk so funny,  so im disabled and people look at me like im dumb or something not knowing my speech has nothing to do with  how smart im its just part of my brain is slow .. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself & say I'm glad this group was created

Hi bloggers!

I have a genetic disorder called "Multiple Hereditary Exostoses" as well as RSD (or CRPS) and Arthritis. I talk about my experiences as a disabled individual in my blog.

Hey, Lindsey! Glad you checked out my blog! I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Sorry if that seems cheesy. I can imagine it must make life difficult. While I've never lost a leg or limb, I know it makes life hard. I have, however, been living life with one arm for the past 3 weeks and it kills me. I just had surgery on the 24th of June, and it's been rough! I have to do my own self physical therapy- I can't bend my arm out straight, still, and my arm won't bend past 90 degrees, still. :( I'm still lucky to have my limb, but, still. I sympathize with you all, and, I will say that, if you need anyone to talk to, I'm here for you. My family members all have their own disabilities from everyday life, so, I know things can get rough!

Hi everyone. I am 29 & a double below the knee amputee. I became disabled in 2001 (at 19) when I contracted Meningococcal Meningitis. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself & say I'm glad this group was created. Always nice to have support from people who can understand what you're going through. Oh, Elizabeth, checked out the 90s blog & subscribed. =))

Would any of you guys mind following my 90s blog? If you loved the 90s or were a 90s kid, you'd love my blog!

I'm technically disabled, by what the law says. I have a bad right arm, that I had surgery on and lost 28% of its normal usage. It causes me pain and makes doing everyday things hard. I have to wear braces to do anything. I can barely pick up 50 pounds and have osteoarthritis in my arm. Even though it hurts, I continue writing and cooking.

In response to Yarn Husband, sorry to hear about your condition. Have you gotten any kind of treatment to help stop the pain?

Thank you for commenting! I should focus this group more for the disabled rather than just paraplegics! Thanks for joining :)
