When I added my badge I:
1) I went to the main page 2) scrolled all the way down and clicked on "Get Badge" 3) customized it 4) Copied the embed Code 5) Pasted the embed Code into an HTML/Java Script option on the design page in blogger . . . and Voila! . . . A badge appeared on my blog. (Let me know if you have trouble.)
