- I’m a single twenty-something year old waiting for my next adventure.
I spent the past 3 1/2 years working as a community organizer and am now the Director of The Advocacy department for Word Made Flesh (an international non-profit focused on working with the poorest of the poor, child soldiers, and victims of sex trafficking.
My passions are shoes, Jesus, coffee ice cream, Hugh Jackman, diet coke, good books, the color purple, black and white movies, The New York Yankees, The pursuit of Justice, sushi, and the arts… in no particular order.
Oh..and I’m a crazy, hippie liberal chick sharing a body with a Christian. it can happen ;)
B.E.A is a Christian, Feminist and Activist blog taking a fresh and unique look at the relationships between faith, politics, race, gender, and modern society. The B.E.A site provides a strong emphasis on the scriptural call to pursue social justice issues.
