- What makes you different from other bloggers?
- I will not post pictures of dogs doing things that are only "adorable" to their nutty owners. I will not post about finding a "gorgeous" pair of shoes that I just spent $200 on. I will not tell you who to vote for and enumerate all the reasons why anyone who wouldn't is a retard. I am fully aware of how pretentious I can be on the internets. I am also fuly aware that I often use big words incorrectly--I just don't know the specific instances of doing so.
Hey, here's me.
I'm a Soldier, art school dropout, failed student pilot, ebay junkie, gun nut, and terrible motorcyclist. I used to drill with a PSYOP unit, which sounds more badass than it actually is. I am a videogame snob. As a licensed/certified dork, I choke on words, avoid eye contact and generally make a fool of myself in front of strangers. I think I'm moderately intelligent. I think everyone thinks they're moderately intelligent. I just finished my last grad class. Got me a shiny MA in Political Science. It amazes me how little I know. It amazes me even more that folks can get away with educations like mine and say they're learned. Most amazingly, I hold appointed office as a commissioned officer in the US Army.
I ramble. Incoherently. Often. I would say that I get wordy on the internets. In real life, I tend to stare at my shoes. Awkward and wordy on the web, awkward and reserved elsewhere. So that's me.

After spending four years in Waco, I kinda feel your pain. (Though being a native Texan... I think I had it a little easier!)
