- I grew up on the Gold Coast Australia and lived in the Philippines from when I was 12 before returning to finish my university studies in Brisbane Australia. I like to think myself a citizen of the world, as I feel I don't really belong anywhere,I have itchy feet you see. I love travelling, my family, playing the piano, writing songs and reading (complete bookworm). At 12 I was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease, and then subsequently rediagnosed a few more times lol, as of 18 I was officially diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called PAN or Polyarteritis Nodosa, which is why you'll find alot of medical related blog posts in my site. I called my site Island Meets City because I live on an island, have an advanced scuba diving license with PADI and pretty much love all things BEACHY, I love colorful clothes, barefoot adventures and swimming in the ocean. The other side of me, is my city side, I've lived in some beautiful cities around the world when I was younger including Vienna, Austria. I'm like any other 20something year old having to go through the motions of post graduation, working in some of the best and worst jobs and learning to find myself along the way :)

No worries :) It's pretty new, as they are trying to turn it more into a discussion group. There is a 'pinned' thread on the discussion portion of the group for posting your links to your latest posts :)

Hey! Sorry for the super late reply! I don't check 20sb that often. I read your post on the elephant collectibles and oH Em gEE, let me tell you we are soul sisters! My collection of little elephants will freak out a normal person lol. I wanted to comment on your post but for some weird reason couldn't :(
I read a lot less than I'd like because I spend most of my time watching TV... especially not romances. I read the Emily Griffin one cause it's a movie now but I'm up for reviewing it. I can compare it to the movie a little and I also read the sequel so I can mention that. Just don't expect it to be very long, I'll give myself the same deadline but will probably do it before that.
Awesome! No real deadline but if you're like me and need deadlines in order to get anything done, lets say by the end of February? I know that's a whole month but I don't want to rush you! If you get it to me sooner I'll post it once you get it to me.
I saw your post on the guest blogger registry group about guest blogging and I couldn't really write anything for you, but I am looking to get some guest bloggers myself, if you are interested. I have a "media monday" and a book recommendation would fit in great.
