I was diagnosed after a years worth of pharmaceutical failures attempting to relieve my depression - it seemed that every drug made me more depressed and full of anger. After a brief hospitalization I was quickly diagnosed with BP type II (which has since been changed) and put on Lithium and Effexor. The dog stepped over my right foot to jet ahead as I propped open the door, and then immediately jerked back in astonishment at the wall of large snowflakes that had just begun sifting down from the many shades of gray sky. There's a difference between not putting a picture of yourself on your blog and not putting one on a dating profile. I do have several pictures of myself on my dating profile, but on my blog I prefer to stay mostly anonymous. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Interesting you call yourself bipolar twice, you don't mind putting that label on yourself? I'm sure you've had a proper diagnosis, but it's so overdiagnosed these days a la ADD in the '90s.
