Maybe our dogs didn't get the cone because we got them fixed at a low-cost clinic. When we got the cats spayed, they just had a *tiny* incision.. like the got everything done and pulled their bellies shut like a drawstring bag (I hope that doesn't sound as disturbing as I think it does lol)
